John “Jack” R. Sickonic, 64, of Northampton, died Oct. 1, 2026, at home. He was the husband of Denise M. (Mall) Sickonic for 21 years.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, he was a son of Jean B. (Santee) and the late Robert J. Sickonic.

He graduated from Northampton High School in 1980.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a sergeant, working on F-15 fighter aircraft during Operation Desert Storm.

Following his military service, he worked for the city of Bethlehem as a stormwater design assistant.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by three children, Sarah Tuck with Ty, Jenell Wilbanks with Bruce and Brian J. Schlener Jr. with Katie; four grandchildren, Jasmine, Alexis, Madison and Ella; three siblings, Kathleen Spear with Katt, Daniel with Patti and James with Mariann; aunts and uncles; cousins; and nieces and nephews.
