Week 2

Week 2 finds St. Paul’s moving into sole possession of 1st sandwiching 3-2 and 2-1 wins over Dryland, losing 3-1. Leading the way for St. Paul’s were Kevin Gross 5-13 (HR), Roger Kern 4-11 with HRs from Rich Kern and Larry Kneller. Dave Crouthamel was 5-10, Bernie Yurko 5-12, Anita Skelton 4-11 and Dennis Skelton with a HR for Dryland.

After a 13-5 loss to Emmanuel in the opener, Star of Bethlehem came back to win 6-5 (11 innings). Walt Hoffert was 6-13, Jacob Hoffert 5-8, Austin Hoffert 5-14, and Kyle Taylor 5-15 for Star of Bethlehem. For Emmanuel, Tracy Dormeida was 6-13 (3 HRs), Jon Rice 6-14, Carlos Soto 5-15 (3 HRs) and Jack Hill with a HR for Emmanuel.

Blessed Trinity took a pair of wins over Ebenezer 7-3 and 1-0 (on Dave Kolman’s HR), losing the nightcap 2-0. Top hitters included Ken Ramaly 4-10, Chuck Crisafi also 4-10 and Mike Daly 4-11 for Blessed Trinity, while Brendan Blevins was 6-13 along with JoeKish 6-13 and John Costanzo 3-8 for Ebenezer.

In the only sweep of the night, Christ UCC beat Farmersville 4-1, 3-0, and 2-1. Hitters for Christ UCC were Eric Yocum 6-12 (HR), A.J. Renn 5-12, Keith Laudenslager 4-11 (HR) and Susie Gasper with a HR. For Farmersville, Dave Campbell was 6-10, Don Kaiser 4-12 and Dennis Koehler with a HR

St. Paul’s remains in 1st place in the Dart League sandwiching 7-3 and 4-0 wins around a 5-0 loss to Emmanuel. Hitters included Jason Gross 5-8 and Rich Kern 4-12 for St. Paul’s, while Andrew Rogers was 5-11 (2 HRs) and Jon Rice 4-11 for Emmanuel.

Blessed Trinity lost the nightcap 5-2 to Star of Bethlehem after winning 7-3 and 9-2. Leading hitters for Blessed Trinity were Ken Remaly 8-13 (2 HRs), Mike Daly 5-13, Todd Jones 3-7 with HRs from Norm Schoenberger and Tim Hiedelmark. For Star of Bethlehem, Kyle Taylor was 6-13, Ron Frankenfield 5-12, Bill Joke Jr. 4-8 and Breanna Frankenfield with 2 HRs.

Christ UCC won 5-1 and 4-1 losing the nightcap 5-4 to Ebenezer. Top hitters for Christ UCC were A.J. Renn 7-13, Steve Hunsicker 5-11, Donnie Laudenslager 4-11 (HR), and Eric Yocum with a HR. Joe Kish was 5-12, Sean Costanzo 3-7 and Denny Wieand going 1-3.

Farmersville beat Dryland 5-2 and 4-2 losing the nightcap 8-7. Don Kaiser led the Farmersville hitters going 7-13 (2 HRs), Don Kerbaugh IV 7-14 with HRs from Wade Chimonik and Gene Grim. For Dryland, Butch Silfies was 6-14, Bernie Yurko 5-14 with HR’s from Karen Krome and Nate Phares.
