Police investigated a report of a male discharging a firearm in a residence in the 100 block of Cherry Street. Charges were filed for discharging a weapon in an occupied structure and reckless endangerment.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of North Second Street was reported.

Officers were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that struck the post office wall on Chestnut Street.

A report of lost property brought police to the unit block of North Fourth Street.

Police assisted a citizen on Magna Drive.

Traffic stops were conducted on Chestnut and Front streets.

Officers were on the scene of a reported disturbance in the 800 block of Catherine Drive.

SEPT. 7

A report of a domestic disturbance brought police to a residence in the 200 block of South Second Street.

Officers investigated a reported disturbance between a group of individuals in the unit block of North Front Street.

Suspicious activity in the unit block of South Front Street was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted along Chestnut, Second and Front streets.

Multiple traffic stops were performed along South Second and Hokendauqua streets.

Police investigated a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of South Second Street. The department is working to identify the vehicle involved and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of Chestnut Street. A vehicle began moving as the driver was exiting. The driver fell while trying to reenter and was run over before the vehicle struck another car. The driver was transported to the hospital with injuries.

A welfare check was conducted in the 800 block of Catherine Drive.

SEPT. 11

Police investigated a motor vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street involving a vehicle that left its lane and struck a parked vehicle. The striking vehicle overturned as a result of the collision.

Officers responded to a minor motor vehicle collision between two vehicles where one party reportedly refused to exchange information.

SEPT. 12

Police were on the scene of a reported incident involving a juvenile who was assaulted by another juvenile at Saylor Park. A group of juveniles gathered in the area, and the incident was recorded. The involved parents later reported the matter to police.

A report of juveniles riding bicycles and e-bikes recklessly at Saylor Park brought out police.

Officers investigated an animal complaint in the 1100 block of Tapler Drive.

A traffic stop in the area of Chestnut and North Front streets resulted in a DUI arrest.
