Arlene J. Jackovitz, 93, of Whitehall, died Sept. 24, 2026, at home. She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Jackovitz for 57 years.

Born in Uniondale, she was the daughter of the late Clel and Rotha (Pierce) McPherson.

She received an associate degree from Pennsylvania State College.

She was the secretary and treasurer of J&R Builders, Whitehall, for 30 years until retirement.

She attended St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine of Whitehall and Kathryn of Portage, Mich.; two sons, Raymond J. and Alan, both of Whitehall; a sister, Nan of Dade, Fla.; a son-in-law, Barry; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Raymond M., Kelly, Julie, Matthew, Sarah, Jenna and Nicholas; 15 great-grandchildren, Courtney, Brittany, Lindsay, Elijah, Colby, Kelsey, Isaac, Samantha, Anthony, Shane, Charlie, Tanner, Fiona, Lois and Gus; and two great-great grandchildren, Jack and Christopher.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce; a brother, Bruce; and a sister, Joanne.
