Blood drive, vaccines planned at Union Lutheran

Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville, will host a community blood drive Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Basket social planned in Neffs

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will host its annual basket social Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers said the event will include a variety of baskets, a 50/50 drawing, a bake sale and additional chances to win prizes.

Craft fair, quilt show seeking participants

Schnecksville Fire Company breakfast set

The Schnecksville Fire Company will host an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon. The menu includes ham, sausage, bacon, creamed chipped beef, eggs, omelets, home fries, toast and beverages. Mimosas will be available for those 21 and older at an additional cost. Proceeds benefit the volunteer firefighters.
