Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Ave., will have a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 26 featuring clothing for children and adults, jewelry and accessories such as purses, scarves, gloves, shoes, etc.

The sale will be held in the church social hall beneath the church. The entrance to the hall is from the back of the church off Stewart Street.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Last call to shop at Northampton Farmers Market! The last day of the 2026 season will be 3-6 p.m. Sept. 29 at Municipal Park, Smith Lane and Laubach Avenue.

The farmers market is open May-September.

Northampton Area School District community education’s fall schedule begins with water aerobics with Susan Roberts. Classes will be held 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Sept. 22-Nov. 10 in the Northampton Area Middle School natatorium.

Come experience a low-impact workout that is kind to your joints. The instructor will explain all the exercises in the water and utilize pool noodles, water dumbbells and water belts to get a total body workout.

There will be no classes Oct. 1, 13, 15. The makeup dates will be Nov. 12, 17, 19.

Participants do not need to be Northampton Area School District residents to join but must be at least 15 years old. Get your doctor’s approval before starting any exercise program.
