VFW Post 7293 is conducting a veteran, auxiliary and social membership drive through Sept. 30. Members attend events at the Post free of charge. Receive 15 months of membership for the price of 12 months if you sign up in September.

Egypt Memorial Park is the setting for a car show noon-6 p.m. and a trunk or treat 5-6 p.m. Oct. 3. The event will also include a costume contest, door prizes, food, music, vendors, carnival games and a trophy for the spookiest registered vehicle and best of show.

Get tickets for Egypt Memorial Park’s dine-in or takeout chicken dinner fundraiser, set for 4-6 p.m. Oct. 3. The meal includes half of a chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll and butter.
