Coplay: Sons of Izzy band will perform Sept. 18
Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., has scheduled its Friday night concerts. The September line up is Sons of Izzy Sept. 18 and Stereotype Sept. 25.
The gate opens 5 p.m., the kitchen will open 5:30 p.m., and the band plays until 10 p.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is planning a pickup pork and sauerkraut dinner for 4-5:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
The menu includes pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll and dessert.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., is holding a bingo afternoon Sept. 27. Doors open noon.
Proceeds will help fund the 100th anniversary celebration in 2027.

Whitehall Lions Club’s cash bingo is set for Oct. 4 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. The jackpot is $200.
There will be bingo cards and five paper specials. Bingo chips, dabbers and food will be available for purchase.
There also is a basket social and a 50-25-25 cash drawing.
All proceeds benefit Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative. Bring a canned or boxed food to donate.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the municipal building, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month. If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.
The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened cereal.
