Lawrence “Puck” J. Schlacter, 73, of North Catasauqua, died Aug. 28, 2026, at his residence.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George R. and Priscilla H. (Brungard) Schlacter.

He worked as a self-employed contractor, as well as alongside family, friends and different businesses.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Schlacter and husband George “Jason” Goble; a son, James L.; three sisters, Catherine Pustai and husband Joseph “Nick,” Priscilla Shemanski and husband Walter and Victoria Hillman and partner Phil Ginder; three brothers, Joseph and partner Betty Lou with whom he resided, Anthony and George and partner Linda Schwoyer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Boy; a sister, Frances Jaggers; and a sister-in-law, Sharon.

Arrangements were made by Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., Catasauqua.
