Upper Macungie Township’s Grub and Groove Food Truck Festival will take place every Thursday from 5-8 p.m. through Sept. 24 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.

Come and enjoy various food trucks and musical offerings.

Food trucks will meet by Pavilion No. 1 at Grange Park.

Concerts in the Park series running through October at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road, takes place at 7:30 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month unless otherwise noted.

Each concert will showcase at least two live performances featuring a variety of musical styles and local talent.

Admission is free.

Food and drink vendors will be on site to keep you refreshed and satisfied.

The township will be showing the movie Zootopia 2 (PG) Aug. 14 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.

Activities start around 5:30 p.m., and movies start as soon as the sun goes down.

Fall Tennis Lessons for kids ages 7-10 will take place on Mondays 4:30-5:30 p.m. until Sept. 14 at Brookside Country Club, 901 Willow Lane, Macungie.

The township will also be offering tennis lessons for kids aged 11-15 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and for youth ages 16 and older 6:30-7:30 p.m., both on Mondays until Sept. 14.

Participants must bring their own racquet. No experience is necessary.

Wildlands Conservancy will be hosting Wild Side S’mores 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at Grange Park Pavilion No. 1, 360 Grange Road.

A lineup of amazing animal guests will make an appearance at the park followed by cozy campfire fun with S’more making around the fire pit.

This event is perfect for kids, families, and nature lovers of all ages.

The township will be offering a full day Chess Wizards camp 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and two half-day camps from 9 a.m. to noon and noon to 3 p.m., all being held Aug. 17- 21.

These camps will offers a fun and engaging way for kids to experience the excitement of chess while building valuable cognitive, verbal, and mathematical skills.

These interactive day camp format blends chess instruction with active games and group activities to keep campers both mentally and physically engaged. Campers will enjoy team chess games, puzzles, skill-building challenges, mini-tournaments, and creative activities like designing their own chess pieces.

In partnership with Lehigh Valley Martial Arts Trexlertown, the township will be offering a free Intro to Karate Workshop for kids ages 5 and older noon-1 p.m. Aug. 22 at 7150 Hamilton Blvd, Trexlertown.

No prior experience necessary.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, (Leather Corner Post), will be having a special presentation “Summer of 1776: Overturning the Pennsylvania Government on the Road to Independence” with highlights about Lowhill Township by David Hunsicker Jr. for the Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19.

Hunsicker is the second vice president for the Valley Forge Chapter of the Sons of The American Revolution and will be speaking at other events in the Lehigh Valley.

The church will be accepting orders until Aug. 30 for its hoagie sale.
