Henry W. Piper, 83, of Lehigh Township, died Aug. 4, 2026, at his home. He was the husband of Ruth E. (Reiter) Piper for 28 years.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Gerald and Rebecca (Richards) Piper.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and in the National Guard for 22 years.
He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, before retiring in 1996 as an industrial analysist.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Thomas and wife Elizabeth of Allentown, Theodore of Florida and Timothy of Louisiana; four stepsons, Charles Knechel of Northampton, Kyle Knechel and Nicole of Walnutport, Jeremy Knechel and Kim of Bechtelsville and Benjamin Knechel and Laura of Williamstown; a brother, John and wife Penny of Easton; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Fitzroy.
There will be a calling time 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11:30 a.m., Aug. 13 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
