Richard C. Flores, 88, of Stiles, died July 28, 2026, at home. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Bartholomew) Flores.

Born in North Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Dorothy P. (Gantz) and stepfather Jacob A. Fehnel.

He served in the Navy during peace time and achieved the rank of BT2.

He was a self-employed independent truck driver for more than 50 years. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for Service Tire Co., Bethlehem, and Horwith Trucking, Northampton.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Howertown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Bonnie L. of Whitehall, Jane M. and husband Paul Termini of Crestwood, Ky., and Megan J. and husband Robert Brown Jr. of North Catasauqua; three sons, Blaine R. of Salem, N.H., Carl W., and Robert S. and wife Amy, both of Northampton; nine grandchildren, Anthony, Vincent, Amanda, Nicholas, Derek, Austin, Logan, Colin and Samantha; four great-grandchildren, Callum, Layla, Delaney and Paisley; a sister-in-law, Ann (Deiley) of Woodstock, Ga.; five stepsiblings; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia; and a brother, Dale R. Sr.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Aug. 7 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
