Joyce P. Lawrence, 86, of Coplay, died July 27, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown campus. She was the wife of the late George A. Lawrence.

Born in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer H. and Goldie M. (Ritter) Oswald.

She was a 1958 graduate of Parkland High School.

She was employed as a nurses aide by Liberty Nursing and Rehab Center, Allentown, for more than 10 years until retiring.

She was a longtime member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

She is survived by a daughter, Tina M. Yanders-Budnik of Coplay; a son, Timothy C. Yanders of Schnecksville; four grandchildren, Kyrie Pratt, Cody Budnik, Austin Yanders and Kenleigh Wanamaker; two great-granddaughters, Goldie and Violet Pratt; two sisters, Elaine and husband Kenneth Reichenbach Sr. and Darlene Marsteller, all of Coplay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy L. Yanders-Wanamaker; a sister, Gertrude Knipe; and a brother, Floyd E. Oswald.
