St. John’s Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., is hosting weekly yoga classes starting 9 a.m. Aug. 5. All levels are welcome, and no experience is needed. Bring a mat and water.

Come into the church social hall through the handicap-accessible entrance on Cherry Alley.

There is a suggested donation of $10. Each month, the proceeds will go to one of the church’s community outreach programs. August donations will be given to Whitehall Food Pantry at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., is collecting items for its fall bazaar. Even though the bazaar is not until November, organizers are beginning to collect items during the summer months.

If you have items left from your yard/garage sale, if you are moving or downsizing, if you received gifts you don’t want or will never use or if you have items you need anymore, St. John’s UCC will take them. They can be brought to the church office.

Items that will not be accepted are clothing, furniture, bowling balls, computers, monitors, printers, encyclopedias, magazines and records.
