Ouma named to provost’s list

Ohio University’s college of health sciences and professions student Carol Ouma, of Coplay, has been named to the spring 2026 provost’s list.

At the end of each semester, Ohio University’s undergraduate students are evaluated based on their semester grade-point average and hours to determine placement on the president’s list, dean’s list or provost’s list.

The provost’s list recognition is shared with high-achieving, part-time undergraduate students who exemplify academic success. Qualifying students must possess a 3.5 or greater GPA and between 6 and 11.99 credit hours attempted for letter grades that are used to calculate GPA. In the spring 2026 semester, approximately 2,300 of Ohio University’s part-time undergraduate students qualified for the provost’s list.

University of Scranton

Students earn dean’s list

Local students were among nearly 1,900 students named to University of Scranton’s dean’s list for the 2026 spring semester. This honor recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a GPA of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the dean’s list.

Catasauqua: Kayla M. Cunningham, a junior secondary education-citizenship and history major in the college of arts and sciences

Northampton: Seth A. Janders, a senior finance major in the Kania School of Management

Whitehall: Wayne M. Reid, a freshman business analytics major in the Kania School of Management

York College of Pennsylvania

Rau, Lueders earn dean’s list

Colby Rau, of Catasauqua, and Dawson Lueders, of Northampton, have been named to York College of Pennsylvania’s dean’s list for the spring 2026 semester. Rau is a senior mechanical engineering major, and Lueders is a junior supply chain operations management major.

This prestigious honor recognizes students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher and is a testament to students’ dedication to academic excellence.
