Beverly Anne Birkofer, 89, died July 29, 2026, in the comfort of her home.

Born in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late David and Pearl (Fleming) Kromer.

After spending her childhood and early adult life in Allentown, she graduated from Wilson College.

She pursued her career as a teacher for Cincinnati Public Schools for more than 30 years, primarily as a third-grade teacher at College Hill Elementary.

She is survived by two children, Kevin (Punky) and Melissa; two grandchildren, Robb (Rebecca) Thompson and Kara Thompson; and three great-grandchildren, Reece, Riggs and Roy.

She was predeceased by a brother, Barrie Kromer.

There will be a calling time 1 p.m., followed by a funeral service 2 p.m., Aug. 8 at the funeral home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio.
