Johnson: Art as Life’s Journey,” features a collection of works by the Allentown-based artist as he prepares to relocate his studio to Arizona later this year. “Olokun is the god energy at the bottom of the ocean,” says Johnson about his painting at left, “Dance in Olokun” (2026; acrylic on canvas, 48 in. x 36 in.). “It’s the energy that resides in our deepest emotions, in our deepest thoughts, in our most suppressed dreams,” explains the artist.
