Trexler Trust grants include funding for Emmaus, Whitehall and Northern Lehigh organizations

Several organizations in the Emmaus, Whitehall and Northern Lehigh areas received funding as part of the Harry C. Trexler Trust’s record-setting 2026 grant cycle, which awarded more than $6.3 million to Lehigh County nonprofits and the City of Allentown.

Among grants in the coverage area were $50,000 to Wildlands Conservancy, $25,000 to Emmaus Public Library, $20,000 to the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, $20,000 to Slatington Public Library, $15,000 each to Whitehall Township Public Library, Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative and Coplay Public Library, $10,000 to Emmaus Creative Arts & Innovation Center, $10,000 to the Northern Lehigh Recreation Authority, $10,000 for Border Trail improvements at Trexler Nature Preserve and $5,000 to the Emmaus Historical Society. The Trustees of the Harry C. Trexler Trust awarded 93 grants totaling a record $6,314,025 to 84 Lehigh County nonprofit organizations and the City of Allentown.
