Gary B. Gilbert, 74, of Northampton, died July 23, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Elsie (Meckes) Gilbert.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a self-employed furniture repairman for many years.

He is survived by five siblings, Kenneth Lee Jr. and wife Irma, Shirley A. LaFleur and husband George, Elaine Lindenmoyer and husband Dennis Sr., Dennis and wife Patricia and Mark and wife Heather; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Raymond.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m. July 30 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
