Candace “Candy” M. Potak, 75, of Northampton, died July 20, 2026, in her home. She was the wife of Edward R. Potak for 51 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James and Ethel Beecher Smith.

She was a 1968 graduate of Allen High School.

She began her professional career as a waitress at several local restaurants before finding her niche in the window-cleaning industry. She worked for Roth Window Cleaning for 15 years before realizing her dream of owning her own business. For the past 20 years, she proudly operated Candace Potak Cleaning.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Leslie of Northampton; a son, Michael and wife Jenna; and two grandchildren, Joseph Matla and Madison of Danielsville.
