Margaret E. Hogan
Margaret E. Hogan, 89, of Coopersburg and formerly of Hokendauqua, died July, 12, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Robert G. Hogan Sr. for 48 years.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Loskar) Harakal.
She was a 1953 graduate of Whitehall High School and received her nursing degree from the former Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing, Allentown, in 1957.
She was a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital and was a nurse at the former Manor Care Health Services, Bethlehem, for 30 years before retiring.
She was a member of and sang in the choir at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, North Catasauqua.
She was an officer for and member of Slovak Catholic Sokal and a member of the Jednota Club.
She is survived by four children, Robert G. Jr. and wife Sharon, Thomas C. and wife Dawn, James D. and wife Beth and William O.; a son-in-law, Sean C. Brock; seven grandchildren, William S., Grayden P., Glenn O., Natalie A., Molly P., Jonathon Brock and Seanna Brock; and two great-granddaughters, Anna and Ella.
She was predeceased by her baby, Ann Christine; a son, Kevin Michael “Frog”; and a daughter, Margaret Ann “Peggy” Brock.
There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass 11 a.m., July 31 at the church, 1239 Third St., North Catasauqua.
