The Salisbury Legion team is only six games into the season, and it’s been a tough one.

The Falcons have started the season 0-6 with the team being outscored 69-13. The team is batting just .232 through their first six games with a league-high team ERA of 11.89 for the season.

Liam Christman leads the team in hitting with a .471 average, a .500 OBP, and a 1.147 OPS. Christman has also delivered three of the team’s seven doubles and has four RBI to lead the team. Rising sophomore Tanner Kuder is hitting .353 so far with an .801 OPS, and Markus Jones is hitting an even .300 this season for Salisbury.

On the mound, Jones allowed just one unearned run in 2 1/3 innings and six of the seven outs that he has recorded so far have been on strikeouts. Hunter Kotarski has a 4.67 ERA through three innings of work.

The Falcons are in a stretch of six games in six days, which wraps up on Saturday. Salisbury hosts North Parkland Wednesday before playing at Lower Macungie, coming home to host Whitehall-Coplay, and then wrapping up the stretch at North Parkland Saturday morning.
