Strong arm robbery

A group of juveniles allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old male, of Palmerton and robbed the teen’s mother, a 46-year-old female, also of Palmerton, after arranging to meet at a location in the 1600 block of Jeter Avenue June 22, according to Salisbury police.

Resisting arrest/ drug arrest

A 29-year-old male, of Easton, was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of required financial responsibility and operating an unregistered vehicle after he allegedly resisted police at a traffic stop at a location along Public Road June 15, according to Salisbury police. In a press release, police outlined the incident as follows. The motorist was described by police as illegally operating a moped motorbike in the area of East Susquehanna Street. “The male refused officers’ commands to exit the moped and reached toward the keys/ignition. When officers attempted to detain him, the male physically resisted and fought with officers,” according to Salisbury police. A substance he had tested positive for cocaine, according to authorities.

Simple assault arrest

A 33-year-old female was charged June 21 with simple assault and harassment after allegedly striking another person in the face, causing an injury, at a residence in the 600 block of Ash Street, according to Salisbury police.

Theft from vehicle arrest

A 40-year-old male, of Boyertown, was taken into custody in connection with vehicle break ins at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., between June 13 and June 15, according to Salisbury police. A 25-year-old person, of Allentown and a 45-year-old person, also of Allentown, learned their vehicles were entered and several items were taken while the vehicles were parked at the hospital. A 27-year-old person, of Shavertown and a 60-year-old person, of White Haven, told police someone smashed their vehicle windows, also at the hospital.

Hit-and-run crash arrest

A 60-year-old male motorist, of Salisbury Township, was charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of supermarket Giant, 3300 Lehigh St., South Mall, June 13, according to Salisbury police. Officers investigating the crash determined the motorist’s 2020 GMC truck, which was found about one-mile away from the crash, was the vehicle involved in the incident in the supermarket parking lot. A tow truck was preparing to move the truck, according to authorities.

Public drunkenness arrest

A 24-year-old male, of Yardley, was found in the grass outside fast food restaurant Taco Bell, 3380 Lehigh St., June 22, according to Salisbury police. The male, who police described as “heavily intoxicated,” also allegedly provided police with a fake name and had an active arrest warrant from Bucks County Probation/Parole. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for medical care, according to authorities.

Unwanted person

A female was found sleeping on the fifth floor of the parking deck at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., June 14, according to Salisbury police. The person left the area without incident, according to authorities.

A patient at Lehigh County Detox Center, 1620 Riverside Drive, left without incident after police were called June 19, according to Salisbury police.

Fraud

Someone convinced another person to buy several thousand dollars worth of gift cards and provide the card numbers to them believing she owed money to a utility company, according to Salisbury police. The incident occurred June 16.

A resident of Devonshire Road was scammed out of several thousand dollars after making a payment to what he believed was a college account, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported June 16.

A resident of Paxford Road learned someone hacked her CashApp account and made more than $1,000 worth of fraudulent transactions, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported June 22.

Animal cruelty investigation

On June 22 staff at Paragon Transit, 1700 Gaskill Ave., found a black border collie leashed to a fixture outside of the building, according to Salisbury police. The dog was taken to the Lehigh County Humane Society, according to authorities.

Retail theft

Someone removed $245.76 worth of items from supermarket Giant, 3300 Lehigh St., South Mall, June 16, according to Salisbury police.

Hit-and-run crash

Someone hit a parked vehicle at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., June 19, according to Salisbury police.

Road rage

Salisbury officers responded to the area of South 24th Street and Martin Luther King Drive June 16 for a report of a road rage incident in which a driver allegedly brandished a firearm, according to Salisbury police. After investigating the incident, officers determined no crime occurred.

Assist fire department

Salisbury officers assisted Eastern Salisbury Fire Department firefighters with a microwave fire in a residence in the 1500 block of Hausman Avenue June 22, according to Salisbury police. No one was injured, according to Salisbury police.

Salisbury Township Police Department officers assisted with traffic control in the area of Route 222, Upper Macungie Township, June 23, according to Salisbury police.

Officers assisted Fountain Hill police officers in the 400 block of Ostrum Street after an individual with a duffel bag was reported to be hiding underneath a motor vehicle June 13, according to Salisbury police. Officers assisted Fountain Hill police officers as needed.

Officers assisted Emmaus police officers in the 400 block of East Harrison Street during a domestic disturbance and vehicle crash June 21, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 13 to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 13 to a neighbor dispute concerning property lines in the 40 block of Birch Drive, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 19 to a disturbance involving a visitor at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police

Officers were called June 20 to a domestic disturbance at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 20 to a disturbance between neighbors in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 21 to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 21 to a disturbance between two people at the Morgenland Cemetery in the 1700 block of Church Road, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called June 23 to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 400 block of East Federal Street, according to Salisbury police.

School bus violations

The 2025-2026 school year resulted in 251 automated school bus video violations being approved and issued. Overall violations were down 25.07% from 335 violations the previous school year, according to Salisbury police.
