Gregory Allen Owens, 79, of Lower Macungie Township, died June 4, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital — Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Jacqueline I. (Eberts) Owens and they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Russell and Mary (Sowden) Owens.

He attended the Stevens Thaddeus Trade School in Lancaster and he also studied with the Electrical Union #375.

He worked as an electrician for 18 years at the Easton School District.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

Survivors include his wife; daughter-in-law, Maria Pilar Martinez Owens; grandson, Javier Allen Owens; siblings, Linda Capone, Larry, Russell, Judy; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Chad Allen.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. June 20 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. A calling hour will be held 10-11 a.m. in the church.
