Donald Edward Rogan Jr.
Donald Edward Rogan Jr., 86, of Northampton, died June 8, 2026, at Sacred Heart by the Creek. He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Pruzinsky) for more than 62 years.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Donald E. Rogan Sr. and Mary (Kohlmeier) Rogan.
He graduated from Liberty High School in 1958.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman from 1958 to 1962, stationed aboard the USS Kepler (DD-765) and the USS William V. Pratt (DLG-13), and was honorably discharged.
He began his career with Mack Trucks in 1965, where he worked until his retirement in 2000. During the course of his 35-year career, he held multiple roles, including line worker and mechanic.
He served as a lector at St. Michael’s Church in Northampton and later at St. John the Baptist Church in Whitehall.
He served as committeeman for United Auto Workers Local 677.
He spent many years coaching his sons in Little League Baseball and later serving as an umpire. He was a longtime member of Northampton Liederkranz Club, where he participated in bowling and dart leagues and worked as a bartender for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Chris and wife Jennifer of State College, Shawn and wife Dana of New Holland and Craig and wife Rita of Northampton; nine grandchildren, Kyra, Jack, Andy, Josh, Matt, Catie, Cooper, Mary and Clare; and three siblings, Jacqueline “Dolly” Mills of Bethlehem, Eileen Warner of Allentown and Patrick of Bethlehem.
He was predeceased by a son, Donald D.
