K-9 drug arrest
On May 30, township officers stopped a 46-year-old motorist, of Reading, for a vehicle code violation along South Cedar Crest Boulevard. During the stop, officers determined the motorist allegedly gave a false name, had a suspended driver’s license and an active arrest warrant. K-9 Echo arrived at the traffic stop and discovered suspected illegal street drugs inside the vehicle, according to Salisbury police. Officers took the motorist into custody. The motorist was charged with alleged unsworn falsification to authorities, false identification to law enforcement, simple possession, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked and operation of a vehicle without an official certificate of inspection, according to authorities.
Wanted person
Township officers stopped a 20-year-old male, of Easton, after he allegedly was operating his motor vehicle in excess of 75 mph in a posted 40 mph zone in the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue May 24, according to Salisbury police. The driver had an active arrest warrant from Pennsylvania State Police, according to authorities and he was taken into custody.
PFA violation arrest
A 45-year-old male, of the 800 block of Gilly Avenue, was arrested May 27 for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order, according to Salisbury police.
Credit card fraud
A resident of the 500 block of Paoli Street learned someone tried to make $2,000 in unauthorized charges on their credit card, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported May 28. The transactions were blocked and not processed.
Unwanted persons
Officers were called to a residence in the 1900 block of Church Road for an unwanted person May 27, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1600 block of East Emmaus Avenue for an unwanted person May 27, according to Salisbury police.
Found juvenile
On May 27, a concerned person brought a juvenile to Salisbury Township Police Department headquarters, 3000 S. Pike Ave., after seeing the juvenile walking along Interstate 78, according to Salisbury police. The juvenile was found to be a runaway from the City of Allentown, according to authorities.
Mutual aid
Officers assisted Emmaus police at Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, May 26 with an uncooperative patient who was brought in by police, according to Salisbury police.
Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police at a traffic stop involving two motorcycles in the 1800 block of South Fourth Street, City of Allentown, May 26, according to Salisbury police. One of the motorcycle operators fled the scene. The second, who remained on scene, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, according to authorities.
Officers assisted in the 2300 block of South 10th Street, City of Allentown, May 27 at a domestic disturbance, according to Salisbury police.
Officers assisted Fountain Hill police officers in serving an arrest warrant in the 900 block of Long Street May 27, according to Salisbury police.
Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police on an emergency medical service call along Interstate 78 at Cedar Crest Boulevard May 28, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Potomac Street May 24, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Rader Avenue May 24, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Tweed Avenue May 25, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a disturbance in the 900 block of Sour Apple Lane involving a resident and a towing repossession company May 26, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the area of Park Avenue and East Susquehanna Street May 27, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue May 27, according to Salisbury police.

Officers helped with traffic control in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue after a truck took down wires just north of South Fourth Street in Allentown city May 27, according to authorities.
