Janet V. Wambold, 83, formerly of Lehigh Township, died June 7, 2026, at Liza’s House Personal Care Home, Danielsville. She was the wife of the late Leo B. Wambold Sr.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Viola V. (Frack) Dute.

She was employed as a seamstress for several years at the former Tama Manufacturing Company, Northampton.

She attended Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicky V. Haines of Walnutport; two sons, Leo “Tiger” B. Jr. of Mint Hill, N.C., and Michael R. and wife Karanne of Danielsville; six grandchildren, Tabitha, Amanda, Angela, Joshua, Michael and Jesse; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.
