Elizabeth Mary Wolfer, 46, of Bethlehem Township, died June 3, 2026, at her home unexpectedly.

She was the daughter of John and Christine (Bakes) Wolfer of Whitehall.

She was a 1997 graduate of Whitehall High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from DeSales University.

She went on to build a career as an research and development scientist.

Her singing voice earned her a scholarship and led to the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, John with Carolyn; a sister, Stephanie with Todd; and eight nieces and nephews, Christopher, Gracie, Claire, Johnny, Ruthie, Mikey, Rocco and Vivian.

There will be a calling time 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., June 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
