Daniel J. Corcoran, 71, of Whitehall, died May 31, 2026, at home after a battle with cancer. He was the husband of Laurie J. (Ziegler) Corcoran.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Murray) Corcoran.
He was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and East Stroudsburg University, where he enjoyed playing soccer and ice hockey.
Before retiring, he worked as a sheet metal worker for H.T. Lyons.
He and his family attended St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.
He was a member of Local 19.
He is survived by a son, Joseph D. and wife Kimberly of Royersford; four daughters, Bridget A. of Bethlehem, Erin M. and fiancé Philip Wasko of Whitehall, Colleen M. of Emmaus and Kathleen E. of Coplay; three grandsons, Colin J. Gad, Gunner G. Maner and Leon P. Branton.
He was predeceased by five sisters, Eleanor Brown, Kathleen Meredith, Theresa Van Horn, Phyllis Ciglar and Annmarie Ward.
