Carol Reid Chorney, 72, of Laurys Station, died June 4, 2026. She was the wife of Stephen Chorney for 35 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George Lee and Etha Reid of Emmaus.

She was a 1971 graduate of Emmaus High School.

She retired from Air Products and Chemicals after 33 years of employment. Her last assignment was a purchasing coordinator.

She was a volunteer with Special Olympics of the Lehigh Valley and helped with event planning.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Matthew and wife Megan; a sister, Linda of Venice Fla.; and a brother, Robert of Emmaus.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Reid Schaffer; and a brother, George Malcolm.
