Ruth A. Zimmerman, 88 of Bath, died May 26, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Zimmerman Jr.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy F. Sr. and Minerva M. (Easterday) Person.

She attended Northampton High School.

She was last employed as an examiner for the former Cross Country Clothing Factory, Northampton, for 35 years until it’s closing in 1995.

She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Emmauelsville.

She is survived by a daughter, Louise R. and husband Curtis Fisher of Bath; a brother, Charles Person and wife Betty; three sisters, Lucille and husband William Sobiesiak, Althea Person and companion Robert and Kathleen and husband Stephan Krywonis, all of Bath; two granddaughters, Jennifer Fogel and companion Brian Hinkle and Nicole and husband Timothy Wall, both of Northampton; four great-grandsons, Curtis, Dakota, Taylor and Noah Wall; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth; and a brother, LeRoy F. Person Jr. and wife Judith.
