Nancy Kline Knecht, 77, of Catasauqua, died May 25, 2026, in Allentown.

She was a daughter of the late June (O’Connor) and Kenneth H. Kline.

She graduated from Catasauqua High School in 1966, where she was a cheerleader and member of newspaper and yearbook clubs. She graduated from Bethlehem Business School.

She worked as a secretary for North Catasauqua Borough for 30 years before retiring in the summer of 2019.

She married her ex-husband, Larry Knecht, July 11, 1970. She lived in Florida, San Diego, Toronto, Bethlehem, Macungie and Catasauqua.

She is survived by a child, Joshua and spouse Amy of Macungie; two grandchildren, Leo and Cameran; two sisters, Linda Williams and spouse Roger of Collegeville and Barbara Sneegas and spouse Stanley of Lititz; two brothers, Kenneth Kline and spouse Shirley of Andreas and Kevin Kline and spouse Kim of Spotsylvania, Va.; eight nephews; one niece; and an uncle, Philip Lukish of Huntingdon.
