1965 Whitehall High School graduate

Charles T. Resh, 78, of Fogelsville, died May 23, 2026, in his home. He was the husband of Carol A. (White) Resh for 53 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Thomas D. and Rose (Wonderly) Resh.

He was a 1965 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the South Vietnam campaign, achieving rank of ATR3.

He was employed as a switchman for Verizon, Kuhnsville, for more than 30 years before retiring in 2001.

He was a member of Morganland United Church of Christ, Orefield, where he served on church consistory.

A 32nd degree Mason and Shriner, he was a member of Jordan- Martin Lodge F&AM, Lehigh Consistory Valley of Allentown and Rajah Shrine, Reading. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8282, Breinigsville, and American Legion Post 217, Topton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Matthew E. Richmond; three grandchildren, Calen, Keller and Kevin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Capt. Mark T.; two sisters, Mildred McKeeby and Marian Peifly; and two brothers, Daniel and David.
