Georgia L. (Flohr) Traupman, 78, of Bethlehem died May 1, 2026. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late George and Geraldine (Faircloth) Flohr. She was the wife of Dale B. Traupman for 38 years.
She graduated from Central HS in 1965 and Goldey Beacom Jr. College, Wilmington, DE with an associate of arts degree in 1967.
She worked as an administrative assistant at several manufacturing companies and retired from The J.E. Baker Company in 1999. Later she was a part-time clerk for the Lehighton Police Department.
She dedicated countless hours volunteering in her community. She was a 1,000 hour volunteer for ArtsQuest, Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites volunteer of the year in 2020, and Northampton County Festival Outstanding Volunteer in 2024.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, needlework and cheering for Lehigh sports along side the South Side Boosters.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter; Carrie Smith Norris and her husband Victor and their children Elizabeth, Julia and Victor J. IV (Jack); stepdaughter Rebecca Beck and her husband Andrew; and stepdaughter Jessica Shelbaugh and her children Alyssa, Brandon, Emma, Ryan and Megan; brother, Dan Flohr and nephew Darin Flohr and his wife Liz and their daughters Ryann and Riley.
