Linda A. Berger, 73, of Whitehall, died May 17, 2026, at home. She was the wife of Robert “Sonny” Rinker for 37 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clifford H. and Betty May (Kincher) Bocherer.

She was a graduate of Allen High School.

As a teen, she worked at a stand in the farmers market in Allentown. She was employed for CDS. After she retired, she worked at JCS as a home health aide.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William; a daughter, Jody L.; a brother, John Bocherer and wife Rosie; a sister, Cathy L. Bocherer and partner Richard; a sister-in-law, Gail Bocherer; and a stepdaughter, Brooke Emmerik and husband Nick.

She was predeceased by a brother, Michael G. Bocherer; a stepson, Beau Rinker; and a best friend, Irene Bortz.
