Two-vehicle crash

A Slatington motorist was charged with careless driving after a two-vehicle crash along Interstate 78 April 30 which resulted in his vehicle rolling onto its roof and sliding across several lanes, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Both vehicles were westbound around 3:15 p.m. when the Slatington driver attempted to merge into the left lane, striking the second car. The driver of the second vehicle lost control of their vehicle and slid onto the right shoulder. The crash caused the Slatington driver’s vehicle to flip onto its roof. Yocum Towing and Recovery towed both vehicles from the crash, according to authorities. Neither driver was injured in the crash.
