Assault arrest

A 25-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged May 12 with two counts of simple assault, two counts of harassment and one count of disorderly conduct after he allegedly punched a person in the face, injuring her, in an incident at Lehigh County Detox Center, 1620 Riverside Drive, according to Salisbury police. A second female attempting to intervene also was injured, according to authorities.

Wanted person arrest

A 33-year-old female, of Allentown, was taken into custody May 14 on an active felony warrant for alleged possession of a firearm, according to Salisbury police.

Unwanted person

An unwanted person left Lehigh County Detox Center, 1620 Riverside Drive, before officers arrived May 9, according to Salisbury police.

An unwanted person left Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, before officers arrived May 13, according to Salisbury police.

Blackmail

On May 13 a 26-year-old male reported an unknown person blackmailed him online, according to Salisbury police.

Fraud

A resident of Weil Street reported a door-to-door window company based in New Jersey made an unauthorized charge on her credit card May 12, according to Salisbury police.

Assist police

Salisbury officers assisted Fountain Hill police officers in the 900 block of Ostrum Street for an unwanted person May 13, according to Salisbury police.

Assist fire department

Salisbury officers assisted Salisbury firefighters at Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, where a motor vehicle was reported to be leaking fuel May 11, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called to a disturbance between two neighbors in the 1600 block of Broadway May 8, according to Salisbury police.

Officers were called to a disturbance between two people in the parking lot of 1243 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. May 11 after one person accidentally struck the other’s vehicle with her car door, according to Salisbury police.

School bus violations

Between May 8 and May 15, three school bus video violations were approved to bring the school year’s total to 228 approved violations, according to Salisbury police.
