Dorothy “Dolly” D. Sywensky, 93, of Northampton, died May 9, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Russel Sywensky.

Born in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Daisy (Buskirk) Wuchter.

She was a 1950 graduate of Northampton High School.

She was employed by Clyde Shirt Company for more than 35 years until her retirement in 1990.

She was a member of Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna and husband Donald Beers; a son-in-law, Stephen Tanczos; a granddaughter, Bettina and husband Jared Wisocky; four grandsons, Michael and wife Jennifer Tanczos, John, Thomas and wife Sorina Tanczos and Nathan and wife Heather Beers; six great-grandchildren, Joshua, Alexander, Eithan and Arthur Tanczos and Eloise and Julian Beers; a sister, Karen Wuchter; a brother, Herbert Wuchter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon; a sister, Diana Nischan; and six brothers, Charles, Truman, Donald, Richard, William and Theodore Jr.
