The Northampton track and field team got ready for the EPC meet this week with a couple of big wins over Bethlehem Catholic last week.

The girls won 132-10 while the boys won 123-26.

The girls were led by Amber Hawkins and Alexa Wiland who both won three events. The girls won all but one event. Hawkins swept the hurdles with times of 17.5 in the 100 and 52.8 in the 300. Hawkins also took the high jump with a 4-5.

Wiland won the shot, discus and javelin with throws of 30-1.25, 85-2 and 109-0, respectively.

For the boys Ezekiel won the 100 and 200 events with times of 11.0 and 22.8. Angelo Amato won the hurdles with time of 16.4 in the 110 and 42.8 in the 300.

Jeremiah Strowder was a double-winner in the high jump and long jump. He cleared 5-9 in the high jump and had a distance of 19-5 in the long jump.
