Carl A. Hausman, 89, of Walnutport, died April 30, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon campus. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Serfass) Hausman for 62 years.

Born in New Tripoli, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Krause) Hausman.

He graduated from Parkland High School in 1955.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He was a layout operator with AT&T for many years.

He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dean J. and Dale C.; and two siblings, Richard and Ruth Depper.

There will be a visitation 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., May 7 at the church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli.
