The Northwestern track and field teams swept Salisbury Tuesday, with the Tigers winning 111-39 in the boys meet and 129-20 in the girls competition.

On the boys side, Northwestern was led by double winner Shane Leh, who swept both hurdle events. The Tigers also controlled the distance races, sweeping the 800, 1600, and 3200, with wins from Brady Furman, Weston Killar, and Kieran Baker.

In the field, Ian Zettlemoyer (shot put), Harrison Wertman (javelin), and Michael Lagowy (high jump) added victories, while Northwestern also won all three relays. The Northwestern girls piled up wins in nearly every event behind several double winners. Sophia Schaffer led the way with victories in the 100 and 400, while Taylor Langley swept both hurdle races. In the throws, Mallory Conner doubled up by winning both the shot put and discus.

Additional wins came from Emily Kistler (800), Madison Bisner (1600), and Charlotte David (3200), while the Tigers also claimed all three relays.
