Without enough Colonial League teams having lacrosse programs to sanction the sport, Northwestern Lehigh’s girls lacrosse schedule include many East Penn Conference teams.
Against Central Catholic recently, Liv Fagan had a six-goal game for Northwestern as the Tigers downed the Vikettes 18-4.
In addition to Fagan’s double hat trick, Madelyn Lagowy, a freshman scored three times and also assisted on another goal.
Ella Collins had a hat trick for Northwestern and Caliana Colistra scored twice and dished off three assists in the win. Sophomore Skyler Dion scored once for the Tigers and a trio of freshman players also picked up goals with Ella Filipovits, Koryn Leh, and Ella Schmidt all contributing to the win.
Draw controls have become a big part of Northwestern’s success and Fagan, Colistra, and Lagowy combined for 15 draw controls against the Vikettes.
The Tigers lost to Emmaus 13-8. Lagowy scored three times and assisted on two goals in the game for Northwestern with both Fagan and Colistra scoring twice. Schmidt added a goal and an assist and Collins had two assists for the Tigers.
