DUI crash

A 73-year-old female motorist, of Macungie, allegedly was driving under the influence in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of the Trexlertown bypass of Route 100 southbound and Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:17 p.m. April 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

A 44-year-old male motorist, of Connecticut, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after troopers responded to the area of Shimerville Road and Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 11:34 p.m. March 25 for a disabled vehicle, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 54-year-old female motorist, of Fleetwood, was taken into custody for driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of U.S. Route 222/North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:33 a.m. March 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Weapon found

A box cutter was found on a school bus March 10 following a school bus run to Eyer Middle School, Buckeye Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 42-year-old male, of East Greenville, turned himself in and was taken into custody for allegedly hurting another person during an argument along Oak Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:06 a.m. April 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 40-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly forcibly grabbed a phone and pulled the hair of another person during an argument at a location along Treeline Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:29 a.m. March 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

A 25-year-old female, of Hellertown, alleged stole $180 in products and services from Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, March 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Crash

An motorist escaped injury when the braking system of her luxury sedan reportedly failed and the vehicle crashed into a tree along Westview Drive, Lower Milford Township, April 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was parked in the 1500 block of Westview Drive when it rolled backward downhill and crashed.

Theft

A white air conditioning unit, valued at $50, was taken from a location along Scenic View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 11.

Someone removed $100 in cash from a self-check out register after it was accidentally left at the register by a shopper at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Identity theft

A resident of Brunner Road, Upper Milford Township, learned a “Limited Liability Company” was opened using his name and other personal information without his permission, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 3.

Theft by deception

A resident of Lexington Circle deposited $620 into a bitcoin kiosk and sent it to an unknown person, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 13.

Possession

A 14-year-old student at Lower Macungie Middle School, Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, allegedly had a vape pen containing tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC, at school April 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 25-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly having marijuana in his possession after a traffic stop of the vehicle in which he was riding as a passenger along the 900 block of Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:22 p.m. Feb. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
