Edward H. “Harold” Muschlitz, 93, of Bethlehem, died April 13, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Eileen M. (Rader).
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Clarence M. and Mary (Rupple) Muschlitz.
He was a 1950 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem.
He served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was employed by AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Allentown, as a layout operator for 45 years until retiring in 1995.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He was a member of United States Power Squadron since 1965, achieving the rank of N.
He was a longtime volunteer and donor for Miller-Keystone Blood Center and achieved the 100-gallon milestone.
He bowled in the mixed leagues at the Rose Bowl, Allentown, for years.
He is survived by two daughters, Janet L. Book of Pittsburgh and Alice D. and husband Richard Gomboz of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a sister, Helen “Dolly” Ehrsam of Bethlehem; two grandsons, Timothy Book and Christopher Gomboz; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kimberly M. Gomboz-Bogacz; three brothers; and three sisters.
A celebration of life service will be announced in the future.
