David Shawn Ebert, 66, of Northampton and formerly of Coplay, died April 12, 2026. He was the longtime partner of Patty Bodner.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Kathleen and Raymond Ebert.

He graduated from Whitehall High School in 1978.

He was an electrician.

He was a lifetime member of Trinity United Church of Christ until its closing in 2017.

He is survived by three brothers, James, Paul and Daryl; a daughter, Jamie; a grandchild, Nori Rogers; two stepchildren, Elizabeth Wolfer and Kayla Wolfer and fiancé Mark Saraceno; and seven stepgrandchildren, Miley and Marky Jr., Katie and Kyle Dougherty and Kane, Kole and Khloe.

He was predeceased by a brother, John; and a fiancée, Lisa Wolfer.
