The Hellertown Historical Society is seeking additional colonial-period artisans and demonstrators for Heritage Day 2026, to be held May 16, at Grist Mill Park in Hellertown.
The event will feature historians, colonial history presentations, music, children’s activities, tours, food and drink, and artisan demonstrations throughout the day.
The Hellertown Historical Society is especially interested in artisans who work in colonial or early American styles and whose work reflects the kinds of tools, household items, crafts, and products that would have been used in everyday life during the colonial period.
Artisans must provide their own canopy, tables, and chairs, and should be prepared to demonstrate or interpret their work for the public. Period attire is encouraged. There is no fee for booth space, and artisans keep all proceeds from their sales.
Heritage Day 2026 will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Grist Mill Park, with additional activities at the Michael Heller Homestead as part of the event’s expanded footprint.
Interested artisans should email info@hhstours.org.
