Addison, Malcolm Collins shine at UD

Addison and Malcolm Collins, Liberty High School graduates (’22 and ’24), recently completed their Division I swim season together at the University of Delaware, closing a 15-year journey swimming side by side.

At the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships in Orlando, the Delaware women’s team captured the conference title, while the men’s team narrowly missed by 21 points.

Addison, a team captain, won a silver medal in the 200 freestyle (1:35.78), was sixth in the 100 freestyle (43.35), and contributed to multiple second-place relay finishes. He graduates as the program’s second fastest sprinter in UD history and holds four school records in relays. His 50 free collegiate best, 19.83, was captured at Bucknell Invitational in November 2025.

Malcolm continued his contribution to the UD men’s swim team with a strong sophomore season, reaching finals in all three individual events at ASUN and recording personal bests, including 53.96 in the 100 breaststroke (6th) and 1:59.23 in the 200 breaststroke (9th) and 1:50.28 in the 200IM (11th).

The highlight of their collegiate career together was in May 2025 competing in TYR Pro Series in Fort Lauderdale with Olympians Caeleb Dressel, Michael Andrew and Leon Marchand.

Addison has been selected to represent Team USA as a sprinter at the 2026 FISU Games in Lima, Peru in July. Upon graduation and post FISU Games, he begins a full time job with JPMorgan as a financial analyst.
