Stephen Pilon

of Salisbury Township

Stephen Patrick Pilon, 64, of Salisbury Township, died unexpectedly in the early hours of March 30, 2026. He was born in Saginaw, Mich. and raised in Bay City. He was the husband of Donna G. Pilon (née Huebner) for many years.

A proud union carpenter, he was a man who worked with his hands and meant everything he made.

Outside of work, his world had a soundtrack — classic rock, loud and unapologetic, the way he liked it. He had retired, and among the dreams for retirement, he and his wife had begun to plan a long-awaited road trip through the Midwest.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Danielle M.; sons, Donald J. and his wife, Caitlin, Patrick S. and his companion, Carrie Schwerman; grandchildren, Elijah M., Isaac T. Singles, Logan S., Olivia R; brothers, Michael S. and his wife, Linda, John M. and his wife, Joy, Joe and his wife, Joann; mother- and father-in-law, John and Barbara Huebner.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Yax; mother, Rita Vurdures; father, Donald J.

Stephen Patrick Pilon was a carpenter, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother and a son-in-law.

He built things that lasted. He was one of them.

Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.

Donations may be made in his memory to Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus, 18049 or the family invites you to use the “Plant Trees” option directly next to his obituary on the funeral home website in support of the Arbor Day Foundation.
