Egypt/Cementon: VFW plans concerts
Upcoming concerts at Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, will include TKB Trio April 10, Grey Man Group April 11, Third Hand Band April 17, CPR featuring Sara Ayers April 18, Chelsea Lyn Meyer April 24 and Nite Flyte April 25. These concerts will begin 7 p.m.
Head out to the VFW for Sunday afternoon concerts by Scott Marshall April 12 and Mateo Furby April 26. These performances will begin 2 p.m.

Reminder: Music bingo is set for 6:30 p.m. April 9 and 23 at the VFW.

All ages and skill levels are invited to join the line dancing fun at the VFW April 16 and 30. Beginner lessons are offered 6:30-7 p.m. Dancing continues until 9:30 p.m.
There is a cover charge.

The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will hold a penny party fundraiser April 19 at the church, 4331 Main St., Egypt. Doors will open 11:30 a.m., and the games begin 12:30 p.m.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Shepherd of the Hills, in cooperation with Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative, will offer a free meal for low-income Whitehall-Coplay School District residents from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 21.

Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Civil War during an event to be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 25 and then 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 26 at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.
This free event includes military drills, firing demonstrations, trench battle reenactments and a military encampment.

Registration is open for Vacation Bible School at Shepherd of the Hills. The Rainforest Falls-themed program runs will run 6-8:30 p.m. June 22-26.
Register children ages 3 through youth who completed sixth grade at vbspro.events/p/soth by May 25.
