District News: Attire theme days set for April 9, 10 at Moore Elementary
Moore Elementary School students and staff are encouraged to wear a favorite team jersey or shirt April 9 for autism awareness and wear school colors or attire April 10 for Moore pride day.

Moore Elementary PTA is holding its monthly meeting 5:30-8 p.m. April 9. The community is always welcome to attend.

The Northampton Area High School marching band is open to all students in grades 7-11. All are welcome — especially dancers and keyboard players — regardless of ability level. The kickoff meeting was set to be held 6:30 p.m. April 7.

The Northampton Area School District fifth- through 12th-grade band students will perform a Band Bonanza 7-8:30 p.m. April 10 in the auditorium at NAHS.

Secondary report cards will be available on the Sapphire community web portal April 14. Address any concerns with your child’s teacher and your child concerning their progress.

A gifted expo is set for 6-7:30 p.m. April 14 in the cafeteria at Northampton Area Middle School. Plan to attend to see much talent from students throughout the district.

A fifth-grade transition night is scheduled for April 16. Parents and students will have the opportunity to visit NAMS to learn about some of the programs and opportunities available to students as they enter sixth grade for the 2026-27 school year.
Parking is available at the middle school and Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

Get ready to roll out the red carpet. The Borough Elementary PTA dance is coming April 17, and this year’s theme is “Borough-wood.”
Students can dress to impress, strike a pose on the red carpet and enjoy a fun night with friends filled with music, dancing and plenty of star-worthy moments.
The dance will be held 6-8 p.m. at Siegfried Elementary School.

April 17 is NAMS’ orchestra/Northampton Naturals spring concert 7-8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at NAHS.

Mark your calendar: April 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., is the elementary instrument safari and parent meeting in the cafeteria at George Wolf Elementary School.

The Class of 2026 commencement ceremony has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 29. The rain dates are set for May 30 and May 31, with the time to be determined. The ceremony will be held at Al Erdosy Stadium.
More information will be announced soon for all senior families.

NAMS and NAHS’ food pantries are available to those in need to help you prepare nutritious meals. Both pantries offers food, clothing and hygiene products to students and their families.
